Franz Beckenbauer was a German player from 1964 to 1983. He has one of the most important ranking of football, in club and in german selection. He is one of the 2 persons who win the world cup as a player and as a coach. He won the "ballon d'or" in 1972 and 1976.

Michel Platini is one of the best french football player. He played in Italia in "Juventus de Turin". He was the holdeur of the biggest number of goals in french team from 1987 to 2007. He win 3 "ballon d'or" in 1983, 1984, 1985, and he is the only french player who win 3 "ballon d'or".
